• Best used on tablets or mobile phones, though compatible with desktops and laptops equipped with webcams.
• Camera access is required so ensure that your device's browser and our website has permission to use the device's camera
• The distance and position of the camera significantly influence accuracy—experiment for the best setup.
• Position the camera directly over the object.
• The orientation of the object is determined by its placement on the scan plate, not the orientation of the camera.
• Ensure that the object is well lit and try to reduce shadows around the object. Sometimes less light is better.
• For tall objects, try to position the camera as far away as possible while still getting a quality image.
• Only attempt to scan one object at a time. If multiple objects are detected, all but one will be ignored.
• The object's calculated dimensions can be viewed on the Library page. Compare with the object's actual measurements for validation.
• Any number of objects can be scanned for no cost. Tokens are used only when you choose to download an image or outline. Re-downloads are free.
• Objects are retained for 7 days without purchase, after which they will be removed.
